Abstract:The bridge finite element model updating method based on the bridge response surface was studied. The combining function was established by quadratic polynomial and gauss RBF function. The sample data was obtained through ANSYS duplicate test. The regression response surfaces were fitted by least square method. According to the above study, the objective function was constructed and optimized by MATLAB. The proposed method had features, such as high fitting accuracy, strong anti-noise ability and controllable computational complexity. Through the model experiment of cantilever beam, model updating and dynamic response analysis of Bailey bridge, the measured results were reconstructed accurately by the updated models. It was showed that the real state of the actual structure could be reflected, which proved the validity of the proposed method.
