Safety Evaluation of Highway Based on the Traffic Conflict Technique

基于交通冲突技术的高速公路安全评价

Abstract: Traffic conflict technique is a new evaluation method based on non - accident statistics in the traffic safety field. The technique was applied in the consideration of the traffic condition on highway. The ratio between the number of traffic conflicts and the traffic volume in certain road section length was chosen as the index. Traffic conflicts were simulated by software VISSIM. Fuzzy evaluation method was used to evaluate safety condition of Zhaoshangang Tunnel and Xiapu Interchange area in Haosifang direction of highway in Ningbo. The case study indicated that the proposed method had certain advantages compared to traditional evaluation method which was based on accident statistics in highway safety evaluation. The achievements provided reference for the safety evaluation of the similar projects.

摘要: 交通冲突技术是交通领域新兴的一种非事故统计技术,采用该技术,以交通冲突数与交通量、路段长度的比 值作为评价指标,通过交通仿真软件VISSIM 对交通冲突进行仿真,结合模糊评价法,对高速公路的安全状况进行 评价,得到宁波市穿山至好思房高速公路上好思房方向照山岗隧道与霞浦互通区域的安全级别。实践表明: 在高 速公路安全评价中,与传统的以事故统计为基础的直接评价方法相比,该方法具有一定的优越性,为类似工程的安 全评价提供了参考。
