Abstract: The conformation of formation mechanisMand failure mode of perilous rock is a prerequisite to carry out the effec- tive treatment measures on perilous rock. Based on the theory of geography,engineering geology,rock mechanics,the for- mation mechanisMand failure ulode of Wangxia perilous rock in Wushan County,Chongqing are researched;meanwhile, the suggestion to treatment measures is put forward purposefully.A corresponding theoretic foundation for deeper research on the mechanisMand effective engineering control of similar perilous rocks in Three Gorges Reservoir is established.

摘要: 危岩形成机制及破坏模式的确定是对危岩进行有效治理的前提。基于地貌学、工程地质学、岩石力学等理论, 对重庆市巫山县望霞危岩形成机制及破坏模式进行了研究,并有针对性地提出了工程治理措施建议,为三峡库区同 类危岩发育机理的深入研究及有效治理奠定了相应的理论基础
