Influence of Bus Dwell Time on Intersection Delay Based on VISSIM Simulation

基于VISSIM仿真的公交停靠时间对交叉口延误影响研究

Abstract: In order to study the impact of bus dwell at the upstream of intersection on vehicle delays, VISSIM simulation was used to study the delay of bus and social vehicles on the primary and secondary intersecting roads, considering the fixed signal timing and bus priority signal timing. The simulation results show that when fixed signals are used at intersections, the delay of social vehicles on primary and secondary roads does not change with the change of bus dwell time. The larger the flow of main roads, the greater the delay of vehicles. When bus signal is preferred, the delay of bus on main roads varies significantly with the change of dwelling time, and the delay of social vehicles is significantly lower than that of fixed signal. The delay of social vehicles on secondary roads increases obviously when the bus stops on the main road for a long time.

摘要: 为研究公交车辆在交叉口进口道上游的站点停靠对车辆延误的影响,采用VISSIM仿真对固定信号配时与公交优先配时两种情况下的主次相交道路上公交车辆、社会车辆的延误进行研究,仿真结果表明:当交叉口采用固定信号时,主次道路的社会车辆延误不随公交停靠时间的变化而变化,主路流量越大,其车辆延误也就越大。当采用公交信号优先时,主路公交车延误随着停靠时间的变化而明显不同,社会车辆延误明显低于固定信号;次路社会车辆的延误在主路公交停靠时间较大时明显增加。
