高掺量废旧胶粉改性沥青相容性改善实验研究

Experimental Study on Compatibility Improvement of High-Grade Waste Rubber Modified Asphalt

摘要: 高掺量胶粉沥青因稠度过大和胶粉分布不均,严重影响沥青的应用品质,同时在施工过程中也易堵塞管道。为了改善胶粉沥青的稠度,依据橡胶粉和沥青相容性原理,采用热重分析仪、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、红外光谱仪(FTIR)对胶改沥青的微观结构进行研究。研究结果表明:胶粉掺量为30%的胶改沥青中提取的有效胶粉含量为18.8%,说明胶粉在掺入沥青时有一部分发生了反应;高温在使橡胶氧化断链形成更多的COOH和CO基团的同时,造成沥青中饱和分的挥发和芳香分的脱水,降低了高掺量胶改沥青的相容性,说明添加活化剂为研究高掺量胶改沥青增容的主要方向;活性聚合剂中有与沥青饱和分相容的C链和与芳香分相容的苯环,可改善橡胶粉和沥青的相容性,降低胶改沥青的稠度;含30%胶粉的胶改沥青被溶剂刻蚀后,其表面在SEM下能观察到尺寸小于30 μm且分布相对均匀的白色颗粒;活性聚合剂能在不提升施工温度的条件下有效解决高掺量胶粉沥青稠度过大和胶粉分部不均等问题,提高胶粉沥青的应用品质。

Abstract: Due to the excessive consistency and uneven distribution of the rubber powder, the application quality of high-grade rubber asphalt was seriously affected; meanwhile, the pipeline was also easily blocked in the construction process. In order to improve the consistency of rubber powder asphalt, according to the compatibility principle of rubber powder and asphalt, the microstructure of rubber modified asphalt was studied by thermogravimetric analyzer, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The testing results show that: the percentage of effective rubber powder extracted from the rubber modified asphalt with 30% rubber powder content is 18.8%, which indicates that some of the rubber powder reacts when it is mixed with asphalt. The high temperature causes the rubber to oxidize and break the chain to form more COOH and CO groups, and also causes the volatilization of the saturated fraction and the dehydration of the aromatic fraction in the asphalt, which indicates that adding activator is the main direction to study the compatibilization of asphalt with high content of rubber. The compatibility of rubber powder and asphalt can be improved and the consistency of rubber modified asphalt can be reduced by using C chain compatible with asphalt saturation fraction and benzene ring compatible with aromatic fraction in active polymer. After being etched by solvent, the surface of rubber modified asphalt containing 30% rubber powder can be observed by SEM that the size of white particles is less than 30 microns, and the distribution is relatively uniform. Active polymer can effectively solve the problems of excessive consistency and uneven distribution of high content rubber powder asphalt without raising construction temperature, which improves the application quality of rubber powder asphalt.
