Rapid Evaluation Method of Shape Characteristics of Aggregate Particle Based on the Minimum Outer Rectangle

摘要: 针对集料颗粒形状传统测量方法速度慢、效率低的不足,应用格雷厄姆算法将复杂图像进行凸壳处理,采用改进的凸壳边界旋转法,提出了一种基于最小外接矩形的集料颗粒形状特征的快速评判方法,并结合实例对两种评价方法从算法求解、耗时缩短率以及测量误差等方面进行了对比分析。结果表明:基于最小外接矩形的集料颗粒形状特征快速评价测量误差极小,平均相对误差为2.40%,且快捷、方便,可应用于批量集料颗粒的形状特征评价。

Abstract: Aiming at the shortcomings of slow speed and low efficiency in traditional measurement methods of aggregate particle shape, Graham algorithm was used to process complex images with convex hulls. The improved convex hull boundary rotation method was applied to propose a fast evaluation method of aggregate particle shape characteristics based on the minimum outer rectangle. Combining with examples, the two evaluation methods were compared and analyzed in respects of algorithm solution, time-consuming shortening rate and measurement error. The results show that: the fast evaluation method of aggregate particle shape characteristics based on the minimum outer rectangle is fast and convenient; whose average relative error is 2.40%. Therefore, the proposed method can be applied to the shape characteristics evaluation of bulk aggregate particles.
