Queries to a Well-known Closed Form Elastic-plastic Solution for Mode Ⅲ Crack

摘要: 本文通过在裂纹线附近及裂纹面附近的分析表明,著名的Hult-McClintock封闭形式弹塑性解仅为在小范围屈服条件下一不恰当的特解.这一解在裂纹线附近的展式与线场的精确解存在较大差异;并且,这一解不能描述裂纹面附近的弹塑性场;此外,这一解导致了塑性应变的奇异性.

Abstract: The analysis of the present paper shows that the well-known Hult-McClintock closed form clastic-plastic solution is inappropriate even under ihe conventional small-scale yielding conditions. The expressions expandod from the Hult-McClintock solution arc quite inconsistent with the exact solution ob taineed by the near crack line analysis. This solution is not be able to describe the elastic-plastic feature near the crack surface region. Meanwhile, this solution leads to singularities in the plastic strains, which is physically unacceptable.
