Effects of Nano-titanium Dioxide on Asphalt Aging Performances

摘要: 针对纳米二氧化钛(TiO2)对沥青老化性能的影响研究,以不同掺量的TiO2分别对克拉玛依90#沥青和胶橡沥青进行改性,通过TFOT短期热氧老化和 紫外线老化试验,宏观上用常规指标评价两种沥青老化前后的物理性能变化,微观上采用傅里叶红外光谱分析法精确计算沥青老化前后的羰基、亚砜基官 能团含量,以羰基指数(ICO)和亚砜基指数(ISO)作为定量分析沥青老化行为的指标,通过分析沥青官能团指数及其与宏观性能之间相互对应的关系规律表 明:掺量为1.5%的TiO2能明显提高橡胶沥青的抗短期热氧老化和紫外线老化性能,经质量分数为3%的TiO2改性后的克拉玛依90#基质沥青有较好的抗紫外 线老化性能。

Abstract: For the influence of nano-titanium dioxide (TiO2) on asphalt aging performances,Karamay 90# asphalt and rubber asphalt were modified respectively with different dosage of TiO2.By TFOT short term thermal oxygen aging and UV aging test,the physical performances of the above two kinds of asphalt before and after aging were evaluated by conventional index from macroscopic view.The accurate quantity of carbonyl and sulfoxide functional group before and after aging was computed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.Furthermore,carbonyl index (ICO) and sulfoxide index (ISO) were regarded as a quantitative index to analyze asphalt aging behavior.By analyzing the reciprocal relationship rule between the asphalt functional group index and macroscopic properties,it shows that the addition of 1.5% TiO2 can significantly improve the short-term thermal oxygen aging and UV aging performances of rubber asphalt.In addition,the modified Karamay 90# matrix asphalt which consists of 3.0% TiO2 has better anti-ultraviolet aging performance.
