考虑延误与通行能力的交叉口信号周期优化

Traffic & Transportation Engineering Intersection Signal Cycle Optimization Considering the Delay and Traffic Capacity

摘要: 目前单交叉口信号控制周期优化多是从评价指标(延误、停车次数、排队长度)或通行能力方面入手,然而评价指标和通行能力之间存在的制约关系对信号周期的优化是至关重要的。针 对该问题,以信号周期与相位延误和通行能力之间的关系为切入点,分别对欠饱和、临界饱和及过饱和这3种不同交通状态的信号控制周期影响下相位延误和相位通行能力的梯度变化进行详细 分析,构建二者的相近函数,并以此为优化目标,采用遗传算法进行求解。计算结果表明:采用本文算法所得信号周期优于Webster算法计算所得,显示了所提方法的可行性和有效性。

Abstract: Current signal cycle optimization methods of a single intersection always start with evaluation index(delay,parking times,and queue length) or traffic capacity.However,the restriction relation between evaluation indicator and traffic capacity is vital to the optimization of signal period.Aiming at this problem, taking the relationship between the signal period and the phase delay and the capacity as the breakthrough point,the gradient change of phase delay and phase traffic capacity was respectively analyzed under three different traffic states:under saturation,critical saturation and oversaturation.The approximate function of the two was constructed,and the optimization objective is to be solved by genetic algorithm.The calculation results show that:the signal period obtained by the proposed algorithm is better than the Webster algorithm,which shows the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
