Abstract：In order to consider the influence of welds between bogie panels on mechanical properties of bogie and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of simulation analysis results, the static strength analysis of bogie frame based on weld structure was carried out, and the fatigue strength analysis and fatigue damage assessment of bogie frame were analyzed by quasi-static stress method. Meanwhile, the influence of different weld structure forms at the motor box on the fatigue life of the frame was analyzed. The results show that the fatigue life of HV type T-weld at the welding seam of the motor box is 69.6% higher than that of the original single-sided fillet T-weld, which can effectively improve the overall fatigue strength of the bogie frame.
