风化砂改良膨胀土膨胀力试验研究

Swelling Force of Weathered Sand of Improved Expansive Soil

摘要: 以湖北省宜昌市某一级公路施工路段的膨胀土为研究对象,利用当地广泛分布的风化砂来对膨胀土进行改良。在膨胀土中分别掺入0%,10%,20%,30%, 40%,50%的风化砂,然后依次按照干密度为1.6,1.7,1.8,1.9,2.0g/cm3进行制样。通过室内平衡加压的方式,研究了不同的掺砂比例及不同的初始干密度对 风化砂改良膨胀土膨胀力大小的影响。试验表明:当初始干密度相同时,随着风化砂掺量的增加,膨胀力先缓慢增大后急剧减小,风化砂掺量与膨胀力之间呈三 次多项式的函数关系;当掺砂比例一定时,随着初始干密度的增加,膨胀力逐渐增大,初始干密度与膨胀力之间呈对数函数关系。掺砂比例越大,膨胀力减小的 幅度越小;初始干密度越大,膨胀力减小的幅度越大。风化砂能较好地抑制膨胀土的膨胀。

Abstract: Based on the expansive soil of a certain highway construction section of Yichang in Hubei province, the weathered sand distributed widely at the local was used to modify the expansive soil. 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% of the weathered sand was mixed into expansive soil respectively. Samples were made successively according to the dry density, that is 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.0 g/cm3. The influence of different sand ratios and different initial dry densities on the swelling force of the weathered sand modified expansive soil was researched by the indoor balanced way. Experiments show that: when the initial dry density is the same, with the increase of weathered sand content, the swelling force increases slowly at first and then decreases rapidly, and there are three times of polynomial function relation between weathered sand content and swelling force; when the sand ratio is determined, with the increase of initial dry density, the swelling force increases gradually, and the relation between initial dry density and expansion force is logarithm function. The greater the sand ratio is, the smaller the decrease amplitude of expansive force is; the bigger the initial dry density is, the larger the decrease amplitude of expansive force is. Weathered sand can effectively inhibit the expansion of expansive soil.
