Abstract: In this paper the upper bound theorem of plasticity theory is used, and the stability analysis under the earthquake force for the slope of the slide surface of logarithmic spiral in theory is proposed. In case the earthquake happens to be at seven, eight or nine degrees, the computation of stability factor for different slope angles with slope a equals to zero is given. On account of convenience in use, there are three charts made for the stability factor of earthquake.
