Abstract: The paper is aimed to study certain issues of transmission parameters of controlled differentialtransmission unit,Geometric analysis and related theory are applied to obtain the characteristic diagramwhich shows the motion state of the unit and illustrates the conditions,scope and mutual relations sub-jected by the transmission parameters. Through derivation of the diagram the transmission parametersneeded can be obtained. The analytic method, simple and visualized, can serve as a reference for designing the controlleddifferential transmission unit and analysing its characteristics.
