Non-nodal connection of brick and beam elements in finite element analysis

摘要: 在对三维体元任一点移动和转动分析的基础上,导出了体元和梁元恰当连接应满足的多点约束方程,通 过直接代入梁元的单元分析进行自由度替换实现了体粱的良好连接.本文方法对体元和梁元的连接形式具有较 强的适应能力,应用方便,算例表明具有较高的数值精度.

Abstract: A method is presented for connecting three-dimensioral brick and beam elements.Based on the analysis of the displacement and rotation of an arbitrary point within a brick clement,a series of multipoint constraint equations are raised to reflect the proper connections of brick and beam elements.The multipoint constraint equations are realized by their introduction into the beam element analysis process and the replacement of the beam element's degrees of freedom with those of the brick element.This method suits a variety of connections between such two types of elements.A numerical example demonstrates the accuracy and feasibility of the method.
