Abstract: Based on the design of the landscape bridge over the Yunzhong River，Xinzhou，Shanxi Province，a description of the design concept of the three landscape bridges in this project was made based on the natural environment and cultural background of Xinzhou city． Then a discussion was made on the selection of bridge configuration with consideration of the following aspects: the expression of architectural design elements，the effect of nightscape lighting，and the idea of improving both the adaptability and facility in use． In the end，the technical criteria，general layout and structure design of the three bridges were also introduced．
