Failure process analysis of cement concrete pavement based on fracture mechanics and a new idea of pavement design

摘要: 第一次结合砼面层的凝结过程,从断裂力学角度对水泥砼面层与基层接触界面的破坏过程进行了分析 ,分析表明 :面层与基层的界面并非为路面理论模型所理想化的光滑接触面 ,面层与基层之间实际存在一过渡层 ,过渡层的破坏 ,是导致水泥砼路面在低应力水平下破坏的根本原因 .基于对砼路面破坏过程的这种认识 ,笔者提出了一种全新的路面结构及施工方法

Abstract: By taking the hardening process of concrete surface course into consideration,this paper applies for the first time the fracture mechanics to analyses of the failure process of the contact interface between the cement concrete pavement and the base.The analysis reveals that the surface course and the base course are not contacted smoothly as idealized by the pavement theoretical model,instead,there exists a transition layer between the surface course and the base course.Failure of the transition layer contributes to the grave deterioration of the actual pavement concrete slab on the bottom face and gives rise to the formation of a wealth of surface cracks there,resulting in the actual strength of the concrete slab far below the design strength.Bearing this understanding in mind,the present paper proposes a new idea of pavement design and corresponding method of construction.
