Soil-erosion with Decreasing Forest Cover Rate about Lancang River Valley

摘要: 根据景洪水文站的水文、泥沙资料和澜沧江流域森林覆盖率资料进行分析,发现森林毁坏,河道流量减少、泥沙增多,水土流失程度随森林覆盖面积的减少而加剧.认为在发展经济的同时,应加强对自然环境、尤其是要加强对森林资源的保护.

Abstract: Based on analyzing data of discharge and sediment in Jinghong Hydrometric Station and forest cover rate of Lancang River valley, this paper finds that discharge is decreasing and sediment load is increasing and soil-erosion becomes more and more serious with the decreasing of forest cover rate because forest has been burning down in the valley since 1970.We think protection of natural environment and forest resources must be especially streng thened while developing economy.
