Simulation Research on Braking Performance of High-Speed Train
in Alpine Region

Abstract:The dynamic model of high-speed train was established by Simpack. The force of the train braking process in the alpine region was analyzed. The emergency braking and the maximum common deceleration curve of the 400 km/h high-speed train were designed and the adhesion checking was carried out. The results show that the designed deceleration curve can meet braking requirements of the 400 km/h high-speed train. The model of braking system was established by MATLAB/Simulink. Through the simulation and calculation, the emergency braking distance and the maximum common braking distance were obtained under the dry and snow conditions in alpine region.
