高速公路养护作业上游过渡区驾驶员注视转移特性研究

Characteristics of Drivers Gaze Shift in Upstream Transition Area of Expressway Maintenance Operation

摘要: 为研究高速公路养护作业上游过渡区驾驶员的注视行为特性,利用Smart Eye Pro5.7型非侵入式眼动仪开展实车试验,监测并记录3名被试驾驶员经过普通路段和养护作业上游过渡区的眼动数据。应用动态聚类算法和马尔可夫链理论研究了在高速公路普通路段和上游过渡区行车环境下,驾驶员注视转移规律和注视行为平稳分布特征。结果表明:前方视野、左侧远处和右侧远处是驾驶员获取道路信息的主要区域,注视概率累计达70%以上;注视点有以前方视野为中心在各注视区域之间转移的趋势;与普通路段相比,上游过渡区驾驶员视觉搜索范围减小,主要目标物回视概率增加,受养护作业封闭车道的影响,驾驶员需多次注视交通安全设施以获取足够的车道渠化与行车要求等信息,同时需要注意相邻车道的车辆行驶状态。

Abstract: To study the gaze behavior of drivers in the upstream transition zone of highway maintenance operations, real vehicle driving tests were carried out with application of non-contact eye tracker Smart Eye Pro5.7. Eye movement data of 3 tested drivers were monitored and recorded when crossing the upstream transition area of the normal road section and the maintenance operation section. The dynamic cluster algorithm and Markov chain theory were applied to analyze the regularity of drivers gaze shift and the smooth distribution of drivers gaze behavior in traffic environment of common section and upstream transition zone of expressway. Results show that: the front view, far left and far right are the main areas where the drivers get the road information, in which the gaze probability accumulates more than 70 percent; the fixation points have the tendency to transfer between fixation areas taking front view as a center; compared with the normal section, the drivers visual search range is reduced and the probability of gaze return of the main target is increased in upstream transition area; under the influence of the closed lane of maintenance operation, drivers need to pay attention to traffic safety facilities for many times to obtain enough information about the lane channelization and traffic requirements, and at the same time, they need to pay attention to the driving state of vehicles in adjacent lanes.
