Abstract: The new method by using SMS of Mobile Phone for investigating the residents＇ trip is introduced. Firstly，the function and interface of collecting the trip data were designed. The software of collecting data was explored based on J2ME platform. The collected trip data are all transmitted to a database in a pointed sever. The results were proved to be more informative and the method is more practical than other traditional measures.

摘要： 介绍了利用手机信息进行居民出行调查的方法，首先设计了出行信息采集系统的功能和界面，然后在J2ME 平台上开发出行信息采集软件;最后研究了系统中的信息处理内容、采用的技术和方法，得到了多种居民出行统计 信息。该方法与传统调查方法相比适应性更强，数据更准确。
