Abstract: The present paper considers the prediction of wave loading on large offshore structures under steep shallow wave conditions for which severe nonlinearities may be presented. A numerical nonlinear diffraction method developed recently has been made more efficient in various ways so that forces can be calculated economically. This method is compared with other approximate prediction methods and with wave force experiments for surface-piercing cylinders subjected to steep shallow waves. It is found that of the methods considered, the nonlinear diffraction predictions agree most closely with the measured forces. In addition, it is theoretically justifiable and reasonably efficient.
摘要: 本文讨论作用在大型近海建筑物上的非线性浅水陡波波浪荷载的计算问题。文中首先阐述了为更有效地和经济地应用艾萨克逊不久前提出的非线性绕射数值计算而所做的若干改进措施,同时将本法和其它一些近似计算方法计算结果以及作者所做的浅水陡波绕射试验成果进行了比较,表明改进后的非线性绕射数值计算与试验结果非常接近。此外,本法在理论上是合理的,计算上是行之有效的。
