Abstract: The characteristics of the short line method,construction process and application occasions are introduced and the comparison is made between short line method and long line method.The conclusion is drawn that the short line method is more convenient for construction,and it can take full use of specialized supervisory control software and data,which indicates that it is necessary to apply the short line method to the urban bridge construction.
