Effects of Relative Denseness on Shear Strength and Deformation Behaviors of Loose Deposit

相对密实度对松散堆积土体强度变形特性的影晌

Abstract: After 2008 large Wenchuan earthquake , a large number of loose deposit were distributed in and near the epicenter. To study the strength and deformation characteristics of the typicalloose deposit in this area , the GDS tri-axial test system was used , considering the different relative denseness. The test results indicate that under low confining pressure , the soils are characterized by weak strain softening; while the confining pressure increases , the soilsare strain hardening; the lager the relative denseness is , the bigger the peak stress; when considering the cohesion of the soil , the shear strength parameters increase with the increment of the relative denseness; ignoring the effect of the cohesion in the soil , the peak angle of shearing resistance increases with the increment of the relative denseness , while decreases with the increase of confining pressure.

摘要: 2008年汶川大地震后,在震中及附近地区形成了大量的松散堆积体,利用GDS兰轴试验系统,对典型的松散 堆积士体在不同相对密实度下的强度和变形特性进行了试验研究。结果表明:松散堆积土体应力应变曲线形态与 围压有关,低围压时,表现为应变软化型,随着围压的增加,为应变硬化型;相对密实度越大,峰值主应力差越大;考 虑、土体秸聚力的影响时,抗剪强度参数c、伊值均随相对密实度的增大而增大;不考虑土体教聚力的影响时,松散堆 积土体峰值内摩擦角随相对密实度的增加而增加,而随围压的增加而减小
