    Based on the experiment of a 30m-span prestressed concrete box-beam, the brittleness destroy when load less then high-point one has been analysied. It is suggested that the disadvantaged effect of reaction from the prestressed steel to the box because of the distortion must be numbered in the prestressed concrete box-beam which prestressed steel was placed in the soleplate.And based on this theory, a suggested computationsal formula of the thickness of the safeguard concrete above the prestresse
