Abstract: Combining with the traffic psychology, the theoretic basis of color perception is introduced. Then its practical application in the road traffic safety field is discussed. At last, the design framework and attentive factors of the road traffic safety color system are proposed on the basis of the psychological effects the color perception has on the human and the identification resulting from different environment under different weather condition, which provides reference for improving the safety level of driver＇s driving behavior and road.
