摘要/Abstract

摘要： 车辆牌照定位以后,需要进行字符分割,以便系统自动识别。介绍了一种基于阈值化与投影法的分割技术,详细阐述了车牌图像归一化、域值化和字符分割的具体过程,算法简单实用,经过实验验证,可以满足实时自动识别系统的要求。

Abstract: It is necessary to implement the character segmentation technology after the vehicle license plate is positioned,so that the automatic recognition of the system can be realized.A kind of character segmentation algorithm based on projection and limitation is introduced,which describes the image normalization of the vehicle plate,thresholding and detailed process of character segmentation in detail.This method is simple and feasible,and it is proved by the tests that it can satisfy the real time demands of automatic recognition system.
