Loop Detector Location Research on Urban Road in Amsterdam

摘要: 基于宏观基本图(MacroscopicFundamentalDiagram,MFD)的网络交通控制方法受到越来越多的国家的重视, 它可以更有效的节约资源和提高效率。然而建立MFD需要以收集网络范围内详细的交通数据为前提,阿姆斯特 丹的城市道路错综复杂,若在每个城市道路路段都布设线圈检测器需要巨大的经济支持和维护。基于Vissim的仿 真实验的方法,建立阿姆斯特丹的MFD;通过实验方法确定城市道路中对于建立网络MFD起着显著的影响关键路 段,为线圈检测器的布设提供了理论依据。

Abstract: Recently, it has been found that Macroscopic Fundam ental Diagrams(MFDs) exist in large urban networks. MFDs can be used to estimate the level of service of road networks and the network wide traffic management is also based on the concept of MFD. Although traffic data on freeways are collected by detectors distributed each 500 meters along almost all freeways, empirical traffic data of the urban area are in general insufficient to study MFDs. It is also very expensive and almost impossible to build loop detectors on all links of the network. Therefore, in order to collect sufficient traffic data to draw accurate MFDs in the urban network under the limited financial budget, the questions which types of links should be selected to build loop detectors should be resolved. The critical links on urban road in Amsterdam are put forward on the basis of Vissim, which provides theoretic foundation of locating loop detectors.
