Abstract

Abstract: Aiming?at?the?query?for?large?XML?data,?an?efficient?distributive?query?processing?method?is?proposed,?which?can?realize?the?query?through?partitioning?and?distributing?XML?data?to?multiple?computation?nodes.?Every?partitioned?XML?datum?is?distributed?to?the?computation?nodes?to?balance?the?bearing?capability?of?CPU.?It?is?very?important?to?take?account?of?the?query?workloads,?which?are?closely?related?to?the?query?processing?cost?at?each?computation?node?in?distributive?envi-?ronment.?Or?in?the?case?of?load?unbalance?among?computation?nodes,?the?partitioned?XML?data?should?be?relocated?to?balance?the?CPU?load.?The?experiment?result?indicates?that?this?method?can?improve?the?performance?of?query?processing?of?large?XML?data?in?distributive?environment?obviously

摘要： 针对海量XML数据的查询问题,提出了一种有效的分布式查询处理机制,该机制通过划分和分配XML数据到多个计算节点的方式来进行查询。为平衡CPU负载,每个划分的XML数据被分配到各计算节点。在分布式环境中的每个计算节点处,考虑与查询进程开销密切相关的查询工作量,如果各计算节点负荷不均衡,划分的XML 数据应重新分配以实现CPU负载均衡。从实验结果中可以看到,该算法对于海量XML数据的分布式查询性能有明显提升。
