Abstract: With the consideration of the bicycle transport characteristics and trip characteristics in Chongqing City，the position of bicycle transport in Chongqing，and the unique characteristics of the bicycle development model in Chongqing were proposed． This concept was used in the planning and construction in Northern New District of Chongqing，and achieved good social and environmental benefits．
