Abstract: How are the traffic conditions of the urban roads evaluated? In the past most people evaluate them with their own experiences as the background. But people rarely make the quantitative analysis. This paper based on the practical aspect of the significant features of the urban road traffic of Chongqing with a view of putting forward a tentative inquiry into the quantitative analysis. The author also proposes four points to be the creteria of the evaluation. Finally, the author adopts these points to evaluate the traffic conditions of several main roads of Chongqing.

摘要： 对城市道路交通如何评价?以往多数决策者主要凭自己的经验来判断,而很少进行定量分析。本文根据重庆市城市道路交通特征调查研究的实践,提出了对城市道路交通状况进行数量化分析的初步设想,并建议以四项指标来作为道路交通状况评价标准。最后,文章还应用"标准"对重庆市几条道路的交通状况进行评价。
