Abstract: The comparison between the results of second-order inelastic analysis of steel frame and the design formulae of steel frame in the current specifications in China and in America is made in this report. It indicates that these design formulae are safe and the conservativeness comes from not considering the plasticity redistribution of internal forces in the structures.

摘要: 本文按二阶弹塑性分析钢框架的结果,对中国及美国现行钢结构规范的钢框架承载力进行比较。指出上述规范关于钢框架的承载力的计算是安全且偏于保守的。其保守性来自规范公式未计入结构内力塑性重分布。
