Abstract: In this paper, special behavior of single-cell trapezoidal box section is discussed particularly with longer cantilever slabs. Then, investigational reports on box section and other section in the United States and Canada are given with dimensions on cross-sections as well. An approximate methos is developed to compute the lateral forces due to longitudinal pretressing considering the losses due to frictionand wabbling effect. An illustrative example shows the procedures for estimating the lateral forces in top and bottom slabs.

摘要： 本文首先叙述单箱梯型梁长挑臂受力特征,扼要介绍这类截面形式在北美的调查情况以及截面尺寸估定及材料用量。对张拉力筋产生侧向力的计算,提出一个近似方法并辅以示例。
