Abstract: After testing the arrival law of pedestrians and vehicles which arrive at a crosswalk of a signal-controlled intersection, according to the newly-promulgated regulation (the Road Traffic Management Regulation), this paper analyses and reckons out the pedestrian capacity on the crosswalk with or without pedestrian islands and signals. In the light of the volume of pedestrian crossing, it proposes the warrants on which the construction of pedestrian islands, signals and bridges or subways depends.

摘要： 本文在检验行人、车辆到达灯控交叉口人行横道的到达规律后,按新颁布的《道路交通管理条例》,分析计算出有、无行人过街安全岛、行人过街信号灯时,灯控交叉口人行横道的行人通行能力,并根据行人过街量大小提出了行人过街安全岛、行人过街信号灯和行人过街天桥或地道设置依据的建议值。
