Abstract: This Paper Presents a new method of the seepage calculation of earth dams, and obtains the formula as follow:f(a₀)=(H₁²-(a₀+H₂)²)/(2[(m₁H₁/(2m₁+1))+m₁(H_n-H₁)+b+m₂(H_n-a₀-H₂)])-a₀/m₂(1+In((a₀+H₂)/a₀))=0 and it also gives the computation program of the seepage calculation of earth dams for the pocket computer PC-1500. Three examples included at the end of this paper.
