Numerical Analysis of the Uplift of Cement Stabilized Macadam Base Asphalt Pavement

水泥稳定碎石基层沥青路面隆起开裂数值分析

Abstract: In the desert Gobi area of Alxa League in Inner Mongolia, the transverse uplift with certain interval has always been appeared in the cement stabilized macadam base asphalt pavement, which is usually prevented by setting transverse expansion joints of asphalt stabilized macadam. On the basis of field investigation of this disease, the temperature distribution of pavement structure layer was monitored and the causes of the disease were analyzed. Moreover, through theoretical analysis and numerical calculation, the setting interval of expansion joint was recommended. Analysis shows that the uplift of asphalt pavement has a relation to the arch swell of cement stabilized base at high temperature. According to the pavement design data of Alxa League of G7 Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway and the measured temperature distribution law of pavement structure layer, the ANSYS finite element model was established, and the influence of temperature and expansion joints spacing of base on the uplift of pavement was analyzed under the temperature filed. The numerical analysis shows that both the temperature and expansion joints spacing of base have a serious impact on the uplift of pavement. If a swell joint could be set at base every 200m apart, the uplift of the asphalt pavement in this area can be effectively avoided.

摘要: 在内蒙古阿拉善盟的沙漠戈壁地区,水泥稳定碎石基层沥青路面常常出现一定间隔的横向隆起,通常采用设置横向胀缝的措施来预防。在对该病害进行实地调研的基础上,监测了路面结构层的温度分布,分析了产生这一病害的成因,并通过理论分析与数值计算推荐出胀缝的设置间隔。分析表明,沥青路面的隆起开裂与水泥稳定碎石基层的高温拱胀有关。依托G7京新高速阿拉善盟境内的路面设计资料以及测试的路面结构层的温度分布规律,建立ANSYS有限元模型,在温度场下分析了温度、基层胀缝间距对路面隆起开裂的影响。数值分析表明,温度和基层胀缝间距均对路面的隆起开裂有严重的影响。通过基层每200 m设置一条胀缝,可有效避免这类地区沥青路面的隆起。
