    Qijian Bridge,which locates in the line from Yanjia County to Kai County,is now a bridge not suitable to a special and emergent tran sport mission.This paper introduces the calculation process an d co nstruction techniques of a compo und reinforcement method of bridge strengthening 。i.e.bonding steel plate together with casting FRC.Successful pass of the heavy motorcade indicates the applicability and usefulness of this method in the reinforcement of old bridge.

    Some factors that induce cracking of prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridges are discussed,such as prestressing tendons, calculation method,temperature stress,concrete stress control,ere.The results obtained from the calculation are presented to demonstrate the effect of these factors.Several design recommendadons and construction measures are proposed to resist cracking 0f long-span continuous box gilder bridge.

    The paper sets forth the calculation method of coping’s internal force undertow different calculation graphic formulas and comparative analyses are made.As indicated in the analyses:the coping's internal force shall be quadrate allocated when the rigidity of the pillar is taken into account which leads to the diminution of middle span positive flexural torque and augment of fulcrum neglttive flexural torque (cauea Rigid Frame Effect).It goes priminently as the linear rigidity ratio of the pillar and coping increases.When the linear rigidity ratio is small,simplified twill-cantilever free beam(continuous beam)graphic formula shall be adopted whereas the fulcrum section shall be properly reinforeed;while to the important briages or briages with hrge linear rigidity ratio ofthe pillar and coping,twill-cantilevelr rigid-framed structure graphic formula shall be appropriately usedfor calculation.

    The prestressed concrete composite box girder with corrugated steel webs is a new type of steel-concrete composite structure,which is have been extensive used in Japan and European countries lies in its super-performance on mechanics,because the superiority is ma g fully utilize of material characteristic of the stel and concrete. Shear connector is a decisive factor whether it can provide a sufficient integrated action to the composite structure or not.The paper introduces the analysis of mechanics capability and design methods of shear connector of the box girder with corrugated steel webs.Furthermore,example of shear connector design in first similar internal bridges— DA YAN HE bridge is offer.

    The suurrounding rock deformation of highway tunnel is an important index to assess its stability and economy of support structule in NATM.It is a data column which is related with measurement time sequence,so we can set up some effective models and methods to pledicate the surrounding rock deformation.According to the surrounding rock deformation characteristic of Yangzong highway tunnel,this paper sdopts the nerve network technology to predict the subsidenee displacements.The research results show this prediction method is simple and effective.

    Numerical simulafion of asphalt pavement crack propagation and analysis of influence factors

    In order to study asphalt pavement crack propagation paths,the linear elastic fracture mechanics(LEFM) theory and finite element method(FEM) that incorporate traffic load and temperature stress are used in this paper.Using quarter point collapsed singular isoparametric element, the stress singularity at the vicinity of crack tip is simulated.The crack propagation paths are simulated by using window moviing; tech- nique(WMT).Based on these,an asphalt pavement crack propagation paths simulation(APCPPS2D)program is developed.Under the various load location cases, the crack propagation behavior of surface crack and base bottom crack are simulated using APCPPS2D.The influences of layer modulus combination on pavement cracking are studied.The simulation results indicate that this method can simulate crack propagation paths and help to understand crack behavior of asphalt pavement in a better way.

    The evaluation of the condition of concrete pavement distress is an important part of pavement management system,by which the strategies of pavement maintenance are made. In this paper,the author sets forth a set of indices for evaluating the condition of concrete pave- ment distress by analyzing; the research results of the past about concrete pavement evaluation,and adopt the AHP method to construct hierarchy analysis model for determining the weight of each index in the evaluation of the condition of concrete pavement distress. Finally,the autbor presents a fuzzy mathematics model for comprehensively evaluating the condition of concrete pavement distress.
