    JIN Xin-hua,YAO Qi-ming,ZHANG Peng-tao
    2006, 25(2): 4-7.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (255KB) ( )
Converting simply-support into continuous is the effectual reinforcement measure to improve ultimate bearing capacity of multi-span T shape flee beam bridge But some problem was also found in practice.Take example for reinforcing T shape free beam bridge with double spans(16.76m+16.76m)by using the measure, the result of theoretic analysis and calculation indicates that the bend bearing capacity in the middle of span Was improved,as the same time, the sheer bearing capacity of the continuous end of beam Was reduced. The advice Was advan ced that reinforcing the sheer bearing capacity of the continuous end of beam when the measure Was adopted to improve bend bearing capacity of multi-span T shape simply-support beam bridge.

    CHENG Xiang-yun
    2006, 25(2): 8-11.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (290KB) ( )
To calculate the increasing coefficient of internal forces for continuous box girder bridges the calculating model with two spring bearings is established. The analytical results of an example by this model coincided satisfactory with those by the traditional method, and it simplified the calculation process to a certain extent with the latter.

    WANG Jian-hua,HU Da-lin,BAI Peng-xiang
    2006, 25(2): 16-19.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (268KB) ( )
During the bridge static-dynamic testing, how to decrease various interfering factors, and to improve the degree of reliability for eficiency of detection and measured value,is the problem that Was explored by engineers for many years.A type of strain-measurement sensor was introduced in this paper, which is used successfully in static-dynamic testing for plenty of bridges, and it solved a series of problems encountered in strain-measuring for bridge static-dynamic testing, and improved the reliability of efficiency and measured value in field work.

    HAN Zhi
    2006, 25(2): 20-24.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (211KB) ( )
The main reason applied improperly for highway tunnel fire alarm system is to be not known well for the equivement performance.By testing the three kinds of tire alarm system,it is is gotten that the alarm time is afected by flow speed, smoke density and so on,and presented the test method and how to select fier slarm system.

Geostress measurement of Kaiser effect in Tongyu highway tunnel
    XU Lin-sheng
    2006, 25(2): 25-27.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (159KB) ( )
Through geostress measurement by Kaiser effect method,it is found out that the general space stress state of rockmass in deeply-lying and especially long Tongyu highway tunnel belongs to the potential strike-slip type. The measured geostresses in the middle part of the tunnel are generally very large with the σl major principal stress of 33.04 MPa.So during the construction process, the problems ofhigh geostress and roekburst have to be taken into account.

Non-nodal connection of brick and beam elements in finite element analysis
    WANG Jia-Lin,CHEN Shan-lin,XIAO Sheng-xie
    2006, 25(2): 28-30.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (223KB) ( )
A method is presented for connecting three-dimensioral brick and beam elements.Based on the analysis of the displacement and rotation of an arbitrary point within a brick clement,a series of multipoint constraint equations are raised to reflect the proper connections of brick and beam elements. The multipoint constraint equations are realized by their introduction into the beam element analysis process and the replacement of the beam element's degrees of freedom with those of the brick element. This method suits a variety of connections between such two types of elements.A numerical example demonstrates the accuracy and feasibility of the method.

    DING Jing-sheng,WU Guo-xiong,WANG Wei-hua
    2006, 25(2): 38-41.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (271KB) ( )
Setting approach slap and paving geogirds are two primary measures to reduce the bridge head bump. The length of the approach slap should be shortened even be cancelled as enhancing the rebound module of the padding in the back of the abutment.According to the data of the ground module heightened by paving geogirds to deal with the bridge head bump in the freeway from Liangping to Changshou in Chongqing,This article analyses the relation among the ground module, the depth of abutment and the length of the approach slap, which can be referenced in the correct design an d construction of the approach slap by utilizing finiteelement program.

    CUI Peng,LI Yu-zhi,ZHANG Li,SHAO La-geng
    2006, 25(2): 42-45.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (328KB) ( )
ANSYS Software is utilized in the structural analysis of the panel faulting in Ultra-thin Whitetopping pavement(UTW). Different contact conditions were simulated with various dimensions in the model, which include the panels without faulting and those with faulting to diferent extents at three diferent locations. The locations are the edge along the longitudinal joint, the edge along the transversal joint, and the cornel The mechanical properties of the upper panels were also discussed,as well as the reason and the pattern of the pavement breakage. The analysis was verified through the field test observations. It was pointed out that measures should be taken during the course of design and construction,to provide a good bonding condition between UTW and the underlying asphalt layer and to avoid early failures of UTW pavement.
