    With the fast developing of economies and the rising stan dardof living,plan for bridgescape on the city river has been attracted atention gradually.For improving city environment and cityscape,the problems of bridgescape on the domestic river were introduced and the plan idea for bridgescape on the city river and the principle of renovation and construction were put forward.As an example,the application of idea and principle on Suzhou River was introduced.It was a good reference to the plan for bridgescape on the city river in China.

    Converting simply-support into continuous is the effectual reinforcement measure to improve ultimate bearing capacity of multi-span T shape flee beam bridge But some problem was also found in practice.Take example for reinforcing T shape free beam bridge with double spans(16.76m+16.76m)by using the measure,the result of theoretic analysis and calculation indicates that the bend bearing capacity in the middle of span Was improved,as the same time,the sheer bearing capacity of the continuous end of beam Was reduced.The advice Was advan ced that reinforcing the sheer bearing capacity of the continuous end of beam when the measure Was adopted to improve bend bearing capacity of multi-span T shape simply-support beam bridge.

    Through geostress measurement by Kaiser effect method,it is found out that the general space stress state of rockmass in deeply-lying and especially long Tongyu highway tunnel belongs to the potential strike-slip type.The measured geostresses in the middle part of the tunnel are generally very large with the σl major principal stress of 33.04 MPa.So during the construction process,the problems ofhigh geostress and roekburst have to be taken into account.

    A method is presented for connecting three-dimensioral brick and beam elements.Based on the analysis of the displacement and rotation of an arbitrary point within a brick clement,a series of multipoint constraint equations are raised to reflect the proper connections of brick and beam elements.The multipoint constraint equations are realized by their introduction into the beam element analysis process and the replacement of the beam element's degrees of freedom with those of the brick element.This method suits a variety of connections between such two types of elements.A numerical example demonstrates the accuracy and feasibility of the method.

    Simulation and analysis of ultra-thin whitetopping panel faulting

    ANSYS Software is utilized in the structural analysis of the panel faulting in Ultra-thin Whitetopping pavement(UTW). Different contact conditions were simulated with various dimensions in the model,which include the panels without faulting and those with faulting to diferent extents at three diferent locations.The locations are the edge along the longitudinal joint,the edge along the transversal joint,and the cornel The mechanical properties of the upper panels were also discussed,as well as the reason and the pattern of the pavement breakage.The analysis was verified through the field test observations.It was pointed out that measures should be taken during the course of design and construction,to provide a good bonding condition between UTW and the underlying asphalt layer and to avoid early failures of UTW pavement.

    The hydration heat of concrete is a common problem for hydration construction and long-span bridges during construction.To find out the temperature distribution rule on hydration heat of large volume concrete,an experimental model by made according to special ratio of conjugation.The continuous temperature cures were drawn during the concrete coagulating times.The experiment has been indicated the temperature located on core place Was very high,and the temperature changes were expressed in exponential cures.The test results were compared with the formula,an d got a good agreement.At last,some measures to control hydration heat of concrete were put forward.

    It is generally beloved that an asphalt paving mixture should have an adequate asphalt film thickness around the aggregate particles to ensure reasonable durability (resistance to aging)of the mixture.The minimum asphalt film thickness generally recommended ranges from six to eight microns.This study was undertaken to quantified the relationship between various asphalt film thickn ess and the aging characteristics of the asphalt paving mix,so that an optimum film thickness desirable for satisfactory mixdurability could be established .

    Based on the selection on the proper raw materials,this paper presents 3 kinds of aggregate gradations and decided on the ultimate aggregate gradation after a series of laboratory tests.As the bottom layer ofthe asphalt pavement with semi-rigid base,the moisture stability and strength performance of the mixture are significant to the pavement performance.Therefore,these were considered carefully by several tests.The rutting tester produced by Helmut Wind corporation were used to estimate the moisture stability ofthe mixture.We also used the index ofcritical curvature strain energy to estimate the lower tempe rature anti-cracking perform an ceofthemixture.

    To study the mechanism of confluence between debris flow and the main river,based on the theory of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid dynamics,the theoretical equation to describe the movement of debris flow in the confluence was established,and three-dimensional simulate model was also put forward,which includes numerical calculation method,the rheologic equation and the sediment deposit and transportation in a conjunction area.The calculation shows that this method is really feasible for an alysis of the distribution of sediment density and the change of water level,the calculation results are in good agreement with the model test data.

    According to the model test on the river reach where Chongqing East&West power plant lied,the sediment aggradation and river evolvement,the chan ge of flow condition,the efect of floater on inlet were an alyzed,The layout of inlet was optimized also.The results show that the intaking conditions is beter an d the influence of floater is smaller.

    Let f:E→F be a Frrehet derivable map from one Banach space to anothet and A:F→E be a linear map with bounded inverse.We call the iteration Zn+l=Zn-A??(Zn),VnE No,a generalized chlrd method iteration.When A=D?(Zo)-1,the iteration is the modified Newton m~hod iteration.The convergence an d convergence domain by recalls of Km-ropomm’s Domain criteria and Smale s point estinate criteria are studied.It contains a special case,the modified Newt on iteration convergence when α(f,z)<3-2√2.Thisdemonstratesthatnumber3-2√2 is universal for many concreteite rations.
