    A method to strengthen a bi- curved arch bridge is presented according to the damage situation of the bridge. Three measures of enlarging the local sections, strengthning the bracings and changing the form of super-structure are used to avoid the trouble of repairing the whole main-arch. The method has been successfully applied in the rehabilitation of Daning River bridge and presented remarkable social and economic benefits
