Zhou Zhixiang, Feng Zhiyong, Wang Zhenyin
    1996, 15(S1): 8-13.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (436KB) ( )
Based on the prestressing principle of the existing preflex beams, a new preflex reinforced concretc beam (abridged as PFRC) is proposed by the first author. The PFRC beams have the advantages of both the existing preflex beams and conventional prestressed concrete beams, and avoid their disadvantages. The manufacturing art and principle of the beams are presented in this paper. The main test re suits of 5 PFRC beams are given and the applications' in Tonsixing Bridge are briefly introduced.

Chen Hongkai, Zhu Jianglin, Zhang Yongxing, Zhu Xiaoyin
    1996, 15(S1): 14-18,36.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (390KB) ( )
On the basis of some analyses on distribution of rock mass fracture structures in permanent shiplocks of the Three Gorges Project, we have studied fractal values of fracture structures in and near the area where the shiplocks locates and in the first section every shiplock roon. All results identify that fractal feature exsits in the area and in sections every shiplock room. Fractal values are useful in selecting typical section in all shiplock rooms, which may be more reasonable than the general selection.

Queries to a Well-known Closed Form Elastic-plastic Solution for Mode Ⅲ Crack
    Yi Zhijian
    1996, 15(S1): 37-42.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (413KB) ( )
The analysis of the present paper shows that the well-known Hult-McClintock closed form clastic-plastic solution is inappropriate even under ihe conventional small-scale yielding conditions. The expressions expandod from the Hult-McClintock solution arc quite inconsistent with the exact solution ob taineed by the near crack line analysis. This solution is not be able to describe the elastic-plastic feature near the crack surface region. Meanwhile, this solution leads to singularities in the plastic strains, which is physically unacceptable.

A New Kind of Measure of Information Loss in Parameter Estimation
    Yang Hu, Dong Zhiqing
    1996, 15(S1): 43-49.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (392KB) ( )
The condition appling the simple least squares estimator to parameter estimation without any loss of information, given by C. R. Rao in 1965, is difficult to satisfy in practice. In document [2] a kind of measure of information loss was given. This paper, by means of document [3], discusses another kind of measure of information loss and concludes that the result of docament [3] is a new kind of kan torovich inequality, and in the end, we give the inequality (14) that is more general than that of the document[3].

    Wu Guoxiong
    1996, 15(S1): 59-64.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (371KB) ( )
This paper introduces a new curve method for designing highway horizontal alignment. After a hand-worked curve which meets the control of country is drawn by using the basic principle of 3-order spline curve. alignment sketch composed by a series of. tangency and arc is splined to form by using fig ure software. Then spiral curve is set between tangency and arc, or between.arcs. At last, a horizontal alignment is drawn by using the design method of alignment unit.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (377KB) ( )
After formulating the parameter estimation problem of MIMO systems with constraints on parameters of different equations, the least square estimates of parameters of the systems are obtained by using vector-dimension-augmenting technique and lagrange's method of multipliers. Based on the structural analysis of the estimating formula, analgorithm of the paramerter estimetes os given. The statistical properties of the estimates are discussed.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (393KB) ( )
The change of rate of discharge between Changjiang River and Jialing River (R) has great effect on their slope of water-surface, sediment transportation, shipping and flood control. This paper makes statisties for 18 years(6574 days) mean daily discharge data of both rivers. The overall and classified frequency curves of R and it's change with discharge are analyzed. Formulus for computing frequency and many characteristic values are given. This paper can be used as reference for scientific research, engineering design and analysis of other characters.
