Effect of Wheel Pressure and Temperature on Rut Resistance of AC-20 Asphalt Mixture

轮压与温度对AC-20沥青混凝土抗车辙性能的影响

Abstract: In order to investigate the effect of wheel pressure and temperature on the rutting resistance of asphalt mixture, rutting tests for AC-20 under different temperatures (40℃ to 70℃) and wheel pressures were carried out with an wheel rutting tester which can adjust the wheel pressure and test temperature. The influencing laws of wheel pressure and temperature on the dynamic stability and rutting depth of asphalt mixture were analyzed. And the formula between wheel pressure, temperature and the dynamic stability and rutting depth were proposed. The results show that wheel pressure and temperature have a significant effect on the rutting resistance of asphalt mixture. The dynamic stability will decrease about 30% and rutting depth will increase 23% to 55% as the wheel pressure rises 0.15 MPa. The dynamic stability will decrease about 37% and rutting depth will increase 10% to 42% as the temperature rises 10℃. These achievements contribute to grasp the influencing factors and laws of asphalt mixture rutting resistance.

摘要: 为了明确轮压和温度对沥青混合料抗车辙性能的影响规律,利用能够调控荷载和温度的车辙试验仪,对AC-20进行了40~70 ℃时不同轮压情况下的车辙试验,分析了轮压与试验温度对动稳定度、车辙深度指标的影响规律,给出了相关计算公式。试验结果表明,轮压(轴载)和温度对沥青混合料的抗车辙性能具有显著的影响,轮压每增大0.15 MPa,动稳定度将降低约30%,车辙深度将增大23%~55%;温度每升高10℃,动稳定度将减低约37%,车辙深度将增大10%~42%,这些成果有助于掌握沥青混合料抗车辙性能的影响因素及其规律。
