Stability Study of Multi-Step Slope Based on Strength Reduction Method

Abstract: The step number, ratio and platform width which influenced the stability of multi-step slope were analyzed by using the strength reduction finite element method. The effect laws of each factor on slope stability were concluded; and the maximum shear strain region of slopes was analyzed when the critical slope was unstable. The results show the essential impact of each factor on slopes stability was changing the shear zone of slopes to change the sliding resistance force.

摘要: 采用有限元强度折减法研究了多级边坡的级数、坡率、平台宽度等因子对边坡稳定性的影响,总结了各因子对边坡稳定性影响的规律,分析了边坡临界失稳时最大剪应变区。研究表明 :各因子对多级边坡稳定性的影响实质是改变边坡临界失稳时受剪区域而影响边坡的抗滑力。
