Abstract: This gives a general view about the common types of bridge expansion joints including the analysis of their ruptures caused by heavy traffic. It also presents a new type of prestressed elastic neoprene tube expansion joint used in highway decks. An applicable calculating method for the calculation of expansion allowance and the important points concerning the structure design of the expansion joints are recommended.

摘要： 本文介绍了伸缩缝的一般形式和有关使用中发生破损的分析。文中着重介绍一种新型伸缩缝——预应力弹性胶管伸缩缝的构造、制作与安装以及试验和使用情况。还就伸缩量的计算提出了可行的计算方法和伸缩缝构造设计应注意的问题。
