Abstract: After describing simply some physical and chemical properties of asphalt, the authors propose to the highway administrations about the ways and means in improving the properties of China-made asphalt. These ways and means are suitable only for the highway surface engineering and other related engineerings,such as hydraulic structure engineering, roof engineering, etc., They are not suitable for the oil production administrations.

摘要： 简单地叙述石油沥青的某些物理和化学性质后,笔者提出了公路部门对国产石油沥青性质的改善途径,这些途径仅适合于公路路面工程或其他工程,如水工构造物、屋面工程等,不适合于石油生产部门。
