Abstract: This paper develops spread calculation formulas of flood waves in open channels of the parabolic cross-section.It obtains the following spread formulas of blood waves:H=H₀ ^2m+1√(1)/(1+((4A²(2m+1)H₀^2m+1φ(η₀))/(W₀²(m+1)²ⁱ₀)x) Q_M=Q_M0 ^2β√(1/(1+((8β(m+0.67)n^2βm^1.33βA^2(1-β)Q_M0^2βφ(η₀)/(W₀²(m+1)²ⁱ₀^1+β)x)Finally, an example is given.
