Abstract: This paper presents a practical and effective finite element post-processing method to plot the two-dimensional principal stress contour by computer. Usually, the result of finite element analysis provides element stresses. Based on these data, together with the input nodal coordinates and node-numbers of each element, the principal stress contour can be plotted automatically.

摘要： 本文提供一种实用有效的有限元分析后处理方法——用计算机绘制主应力等值线图。通常有限元分析结果提供结点位移和单元应力值,加上分析前的输入数据:各个节点座标和单元节点编号。本方法就是以上述数据为基础,用计算机自动完成主应力等值线的绘制工作。
