Abstract: In this paper we research the fluvial river with braided reaches which often appear in the middle and lower part of river.The situation is complicated because of the motion of water and sediment in braided river.The river with wany shoals and rapids is dangerons for the navigation. As to the braided reaches in the natural conditions, they can be used for navigation, if the depth of waterway is enough.The water resources are to be used for navigation. Some work is to be done for the braided reaches and the methods to control dicharges are to be studied so that the river traffic conditions will be smoothly improved.
