Abstract: In this pape ,the application of grouting technology in bridge abutment reinforcement is intruoduced， this bridge abutment is located in the Yangtze Biver Bank Road ,in Yu’zhong District of Chongqing City． The result of acoustic testing indicates that the bearing capacity and stability of bridge abutment foundation is highly improved by grouting reinforcement， the settlement and deformation of bridge abutment is prevented efectively．
