Abstract: This paper analyses the invite public bidding methods of highway construction in Chongqing inter-county, and it compares the advan- tage and disadvantage of every methods. It points out that by adopting the lowest bidding measure having estimation of contract sum cost we can control investment efficaciously, cut down the phenomena that some small enterprises join bidding by borrowing qualification, have the initiative in engineering construction. It offers certain experience for the invite public bidding of construction
