Abstract: The author had taken an observation on bridge engineering in Japan. This paper is a part of the technical report the present situation of application and investigation of atmospheric corrosion resisting steel bridge in Japan are introduced, and its distinguishing points in structural design are described. Finally, the. opinion of the author on its application in China is given
