Feasibility Analysis of Cylindrical Specimen for National Standard Rutting Dynamic Stability Test

圆柱形试件用于国标车辙动稳定度试验的可行性分析

Abstract: In order to analyze the feasibility of cylindrical specimens used to evaluate the anti-rutting performance of asphalt mixture,a comparative and contrastive method of indoor experiment was adopted. Firstly,the internationally recognized Hamburg rutting test,APA rutting test and small-scaled acceleration loading test were selected; the cylindrical specimens of 6 different types of asphalt mixtures were experimented respectively; and the correlation between the results obtained from the above three methods and the national standard rutting test results of cylindrical specimen proposed in the text was analyzed. Secondly,the variation of void fraction and dynamic stability of specimen formation of plate specimen and cylindrical specimen used in national standard rutting tester was compared,and the reliability of cylindrical specimen rutting test was discussed. The results show that there is a close correlation among the dynamic stability indexes of the cylindrical specimen national standard rutting test,the rutting depth of Hamburg,the dynamic stability of APA rutting test and the creep rate of small-scaled acceleration loading test. Also ,the reliability of the cylindrical specimen for national standard rutting test is higher than that of the slab specimen,which represents that it is feasible for cylindrical specimen applied in national standard rutting tester to evaluate the anti-rutting performance of asphalt mixture.

摘要: 分析了笔者提出的圆柱形试件用于评价沥青混合料抗车辙性能的可行性,采用室内试验对比分析的方法。首先,选取国际上广泛认可的汉堡车辙试 验、APA车辙试验和小型加速加载试验,对6种不同类型的沥青混合料圆柱形试件分别进行试验,且将结果分别与笔者提出的圆柱形试件国标车辙试验结果 进行相关性分析;其次,比较板式试件和圆柱形试件用于国标车辙仪时的试件成型空隙率变异性和动稳定度变异性,讨论圆柱形试件车辙试验的可靠度。 结果表明:圆柱形试件国标车辙试验的动稳定度指标与汉堡车辙深度、APA试验动稳定度和小型加速加载试验蠕变速率指标之间均有良好的相关性,且较 板式试件,圆柱形试件用于国标车辙试验的可靠度更高,表明圆柱形试件用于国标车辙仪评价沥青混合料的抗车辙性能是可行的。
